DICKINSON, Sean
It is with profound sadness that the family of Sean Michael Dickinson announces his passing, as the result of a car accident, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the age of 53. Sean was the beloved husband and best friend of Christy Thompson. He is predeceased by his parents Michael Dickinson and Linda (Harper) Dickinson. Sean is survived by his sister Denise Haight (Trevor), his mother and father-in-law Rev. Beverly and Rev. Robert Thompson, and his brother-in-law Andrew Thompson (Maya). He was the loving uncle of Gabe Nourse, Emily and Nathan Haight and Jacob Thompson. Sean will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as friends and neighbours. Sean grew up in Vineland, Ontario and spent over 20 years living in Northumberland County. He was an electrician by trade and was active in the local amateur radio community (VA3HD). He spent many happy summers at the family cottage on White Lake, where he enjoyed countless hours on his Sea Doo. Sean loved cats and shared his life with many over the years. He will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Service to Celebrate His Life will be held at the Selby United Church, 153 Pleasant Drive in Selby, on Saturday June 29 at 1 PM, the family will receive friends from 12 PM. Interment to take place at New Dublin Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Ontario S.P.C.A.
