Driver charged with failing to yield after collision with motorcycle in Loyalist

A motorcycle driver was injured after a collision involving another vehicle.

On June 27 at approximately 2:15 p.m., members of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on County Road 6 near Simmons Road in Loyalist Township.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

As a result of an investigation, the driver of the pickup truck was charged with failing to yield to traffic on a through highway.
