Mea Centre is a non-profit charity dedicated to encouraging, empowering, and equipping anyone facing an unexpected pregnancy.

This year marks their 35th anniversary. Since 1989, they have welcomed over 2,600 new clients into the Centre, administered over 1,100 pregnancy tests, provided material assistance to over 3,300 families, and have had over 7,300 total client visits to the Centre. They have two offices to serve the KFLA community, a main office in Kingston at 120 Clarence St., Suite 231, and a branch office in Napanee at 6 Dundas St. E, Suite 8.

This year they have seen a lot of growth at Mea Centre with a 33 per cent increase in client activity. The biggest increase being their perinatal support group which launched in March last year to help new mothers who are at risk of developing perinatal mood disorder.
