A 29-year-old man has been arrested after someone was seen breaking into vehicles in the Meadow Lane area in Greater Napanee.
Officers with the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded shortly before 1:30 a.m. on July 1,. One person was arrested in the area.
Alexander Cook of Kingston has been charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Theft under $5,000 from a vehicle
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on Sept. 3, 2024.
