Rural Frontenac Lennox and Addington Health Team will be hosting a pair of family hiking events mixed with some fun painting amongst nature this June.
On June 1 there will be a hike and paint at Picton’s McCauley Mountain, from 11 a.m. until around 2 p.m, led by a registered kinesiologist.
Participants will have the option of doing a 1 km hike or a 5 km hike that includes a painting session.
All painting materials are provided and the event is free and open to all ages. No painting experience is needed.
Youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration must be done by May 30 and can be done by emailing Katherinet@kchc.ca or calling 613-449-5678.
Later on June 22 will be a Hike and Create at Parrott’s Bay from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This event will also include a hike and paint led by a registered kinesiologist.
